Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labor and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person's liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.
Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships and in implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in its own business or by any of its supply chain partners.
Martin is committed to ensuring there is transparency in its business and will comply at all times with any legislation applicable with respect to Modern Slavery including but not limited to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, and the Australia’s Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act. Martin expects the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners. As part of the contracting processes, specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labor, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, are expected from its supplier partners.
